"Creating a Lasting Legacy: The Birth of Melvin Jones Home for the Aged"
In 1999-2000, as our club marked its 10th anniversary, an urgent call arose for a lasting legacy. After deep deliberation, we unanimously chose to create a sanctuary for the aged destitute, naming it the Melvin Jones Home for the Aged. Led by the indomitable Late Prof Ln Ambrose, who faced and overcame numerous challenges with relentless dedication, our dream became reality in June 2004. This unique haven, the only one in multiple districts, offers free care to the elderly without any financial aid, sustained solely by the generosity of our members and kind-hearted donors. It proudly stands as the solitary old age home in Lionistic district 324 A.
In each step, a tale of life's embrace.
